Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to support and lead complex M&A initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing M&A programs, including acquisition integration, cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and execution of strategic initiatives.
This role requires a proven track record of successfully driving M&A programs from planning through execution while working closely with business leaders, technology teams, finance, legal, HR, and other functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end M&A programs, including acquisition integration and transition activities
- Drive program planning, execution, tracking, and reporting across multiple workstreams
- Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful M&A delivery
- Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and mitigation plans
- Coordinate integration activities across business, technology, operations, finance, HR, and legal teams
- Develop program governance frameworks, status reporting, dashboards, and executive communications
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure alignment across teams
- Identify gaps and proactively drive resolution of critical program challenges
- Support due diligence activities and post-merger integration efforts
- Ensure M&A initiatives meet strategic business objectives and deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience managing Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) programs
- Proven experience leading large-scale cross-functional programs
- Experience with acquisition integration and post-merger activities
- Strong program/project management skills with executive stakeholder exposure
- Experience managing complex timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in technology-driven M&A environments
- Experience working with enterprise organizations
- Background in transformation, integration, or strategic initiatives
- Experience managing multiple teams and global stakeholders
- PMP / PgMP certification is a plus
