Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality HCM solutions aligned with business objectives. This role requires a strong mix of functional HCM expertise and technical architecture, along with experience in enterprise infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery (DR).

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to design integrated solutions, ensure system resilience, and support mission-critical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Cloud HCM implementations
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
• Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) strategies with defined RTO/RPO targets
• Architect and validate failover mechanisms and recovery processes
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and product teams to ensure resilient system design
• Automate DR testing and failover workflows using IaC and orchestration tools
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams
• Engage with stakeholders and leadership to influence architecture decisions and roadmap

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud HCM (Core HR, Talent, Payroll, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) in enterprise/hybrid environments
• Deep knowledge of Oracle technologies:
  • Data Guard
  • RMAN
  • Backup & Restore strategies
  • Database replication
• Experience designing DR solutions with measurable RTO/RPO outcomes
• Expertise in automation & scripting:
  • Terraform, Ansible, Rundeck, Jenkins (or similar)
  • Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Strong understanding of networking concepts:
  • BGP
  • DNS failover
  • Load balancing (F5, HAProxy, Cloud LB)
• Experience with storage replication (SAN/NAS, sync/async models)
• Ability to work across cross-functional and distributed teams

Nice to Have:

• Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional, CCNP, CISSP, DevOps/SRE
• Experience with chaos engineering tools (Chaos Monkey, Gremlin)
• Exposure to carrier/network provisioning & SLA management
• Experience in regulated environments (audit & compliance-driven DR testing)
