Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of a Senior Test Engineer for an initial 12 month contract. This is a hybrid schedule consisting of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote with candidates being located in either Gaithersburg, MD, Egg Township, NJ or Eagan, MN. The Senior Test Engineer will serve as the senior testing authority, defining the test and evaluation strategy, methodology and standards for the customer. They will also lead the design and implementation of enterprise test automation frameworks that support continuous testing across the delivery pipeline, overseeing all phases of testing to include, functional, integration, systems, regression, performance, security and acceptance testing. The Senior Test Engineer will also drive quality engineering practices including shift-left testing, test-driven development, quality gate enforcement, etc.
Required Skills:
- At least 10 years of experience with the last 5 years being in a senior or lead role with a bachelors degree.
- ISTQB Advanced or Expert Level, CSQA or equivalent certification as well as some level of security testing certification, i.e. GWAPT.
- Experience with Advanced test automation architecture including, framework design, maintainability patterns and cross-platform testing.
- Experience with penetration testing coordination, bottleneck analysis and / or scalability testing for distributed systems.
- Prior experience with continuous testing in a DevSecOps environment and pipeline-integrated quality gates.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is $42 - 61/ hr.
