- Candidate Location: Local candidates only. Candidates must be located within 100 miles of Lansing, MI at the time of submission.
Hybrid Work Schedule - No remote-only option.
- Resource must be available to work onsite from Day 1.
- Required onsite schedule: Monday and Tuesday.

Position Description
The Programmer Analyst will provide application development and integration services to the Department of Technology, Management and Budget, supporting the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC), and Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP).
The resource will be responsible for the design, maintenance, development, and enhancement of agency applications. Project assignments and activities will be executed within the framework of the State of Michigan System Engineering Methodology (SEM).
Responsibilities will include the development, testing, and deployment of application releases, updates, and modifications.
This position is responsible for providing advanced technical support for Dynamics 365 platforms. As a Programmer Analyst, the resource will perform and lead project tasks, including requirements gathering, planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations.
Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of working experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations.
- 3+ years of Dynamics Architect experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Power Platform solutions, particularly Power Automate and Power Pages.
- Microsoft Azure platform experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps.
- 3+ years of Data Architecture experience.
- 5+ years of Infrastructure, Network, and Application Support experience.
- Experience designing and documenting technical architecture solutions spanning multiple platforms.
- Experience with system integration and authentication across multiple systems.
- Experience with CI/CD and Release Management, including defining, communicating, and managing technical change and release processes for Dynamics 365 technology efforts.
- Ability to identify technical risks and issues.
- Experience with Azure Communications.
- Experience working with APIs.
- Ability to prepare detailed written instructions and technical documentation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including preparing reports and presentations.
- Experience performing analysis and requirements gathering with customers.
- Ability to resolve complex technical problems in a timely manner and identify optimal solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical terminology appropriately to different audiences.
- Ability to handle highly complex assignments in a high-stress work environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot application issues under pressure.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Customer Service Analyst.
- 5+ years of extensive experience with MS Dynamics, MS Azure, and Application Suppor
