IT Support Specialist

Hansen Talent Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the first line of helpdesk support for a growing organization.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for helpdesk support, delivering responsive, high-quality customer service

• Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware

• Install and test new hardware and software for performance and compatibility

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workstations, VPN, and basic network connectivity

• Manage user access and troubleshoot issues within core systems (including Relius)

• Provide basic support for Windows servers and assist with VMWare environments

• Support and maintain the company phone system

• Onboard new employees by orienting them to systems, hardware, and software tools

• Monitor daily logs, complete checklist tasks, and maintain equipment inventory

• Provide basic user training and “how-to” guidance as needed

What you need:

• Associate’s degree in a computer-related field (or equivalent experience)

• 1–2+ years of IT helpdesk or customer support experience

• Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices

• Basic knowledge of Windows servers, VPN technology, and VMWare

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred
