Role Overview
The Platform Automation Developer will build the software, integrations, orchestration services, and automation workflows supporting an enterprise private cloud platform. In this role, you will work closely with infrastructure architects and engineers to translate platform requirements into scalable, production-ready automation capabilities.
You will develop integrations and orchestration spanning ServiceNow, infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, inventory, and Day-0 through Day-N operations. The ideal candidate brings strong software development skills together with practical experience in infrastructure automation, APIs, systems integration, and enterprise platform engineering.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop platform automation services using Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Build REST API-based integrations and orchestration services
• Develop event-driven integrations, message-based workflows, and API-based synchronization
• Build ServiceNow Service Catalog, API, and workflow integrations
• Develop automation supporting infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management
• Integrate platform services with Terraform and Ansible-based infrastructure automation
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git/GitOps workflows
• Build orchestration supporting VM and Kubernetes provisioning
• Develop CMDB, DCIM, inventory, and asset-management integrations
• Build Dynatrace and monitoring-event integrations
• Develop incident, change, and operational workflow automation
• Support infrastructure onboarding and Day-0 through Day-N platform operations
• Partner with architects and engineers to translate technical designs into production-ready software and automation
Required Qualifications
• Senior-level experience in software development, platform engineering, systems integration, or automation development
• Strong development experience with Python
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Strong experience developing and integrating REST APIs
• Experience building API-driven and event-driven integrations
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with ServiceNow APIs, Service Catalog, and workflow integrations
• Experience with Git/GitOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building orchestration or automation supporting infrastructure platforms
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems integration and automated workflows
• Ability to collaborate with architects and engineers to translate requirements into working software

• Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
