Job Description:Assist full design personnel in the following activities:
- Interface with external Customers to provide electric service.
- Design electric distribution facilities and perform various engineering studies using computer based systems.
- Work as part of a cross-function Team to meet the needs of Customers.
- Assist in outage restoration efforts as needed.
- Work assignment complexity and responsibility grows with tenure of student employees.
- Performs other duties as directed by management.
Education requirements:- Seeking Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil engineering majors to work full time during the designated semesters
- Must be currently enrolled in school full-time, pursuing a bachelor's degree or beyond as indicated above
- Preferred: Sophmore, Junior, and Senior candidates.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale)
Job Requirements- Computer skills-- familiar with various databases, as well as Windows environment and Microsoft toolkit (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must have good communication and Customer Service skills.
Work Conditions:Office and Field work. Some situations might require ability to work in adverse climate conditions and physical nature of work may require walking long distances in uneven off-road environments. Some travel may be necessary.
