Technical Support Specialist

Vaco Technology is currently recruiting for a Tier 2 Help Desk Specialist for a full-time role located on the north side of Indianapolis. This is a 100% on-site role, Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm. The team supports multiple locations, users, applications, and hardware. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, and network hardware/software issues Provide in-person, phone, email, and ticket-based support Escalate urgent issues as needed Stay current on system updates across servers, applications, and desktops Participate in on-call IT support Monitor and respond to any major security issues that may take place Requirements 3+ years of systems support (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016+) Hands-on hardware support (desktops, servers, laptops, printers) Strong communication and customer service skills Experience with virtualization (preferred) Active Directory and Group Policy experience Microsoft Azure (Conditional Access, Intune, Autopilot) Knowledge of firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless technologies Relevant certifications (Microsoft Server, Cisco, VMware) preferred Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
