Project Management Consultant-Level 2 - Experienced (6 - 10 Years)

Location: Juno Beach, Florida (Onsite)

Role Overview

This position supports the overall management of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. The role involves supporting construction work performed by contractors and vendors at the project site. This is an office-based role that may incorporate travel on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess productivity, monitor schedule compliance, evaluate work quality, and ensure safety performance on assigned projects.
  • Participate in walk-downs of planned work and validate the acceptance of completed work against design requirements.
  • Review contractor payment requests and assist in scope control and budget oversight.
  • Verify constructability, ensure proper resource allocation, assess field status, and resolve issues as needed.
  • Coordinate project activities with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and local community officials.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues, performance reporting, scheduling, and work-in-progress.
  • Interface with landowners, local regulators, and state agencies.
  • Reinforce expectations related to safety, procedure compliance, and appropriate work behaviors for staff and contractors.
  • Coordinate activities for safety programs, engineering, construction, budget, analytics, and contract administration.
  • Analyze key performance metrics, financial data, and operational trends to support strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or a related field is required.

Experience: 6 - 10 years of experience managing project execution, including vendor and contractor coordination, particularly within the construction or renewables industry.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools is essential, including experience with software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet. Must have strong organizational and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Work Environment

Travel to project sites may be required up to 25% of the time. This position requires the ability to drive as part of the job duties.
