Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Digital Thread / PLM Transformation to lead large-scale enterprise transformation programs across Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Electronics / Semiconductor industries.
This role will drive end-to-end PLM modernization initiatives, aligning business strategy, engineering operations, and digital transformation goals. The ideal candidate has successfully led complex PLM programs from roadmap definition through implementation, rollout, and user adoption in global environments.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, IT leadership, system integrators, and vendors to ensure delivery excellence, scalability, and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide PLM and Digital Thread transformation programs from initiation through delivery and adoption.
- Own program roadmap, scope, budget, timeline, governance, risk management, and reporting.
- Drive integration of PLM platforms with ERP, MES, QMS, IoT, CAD, and downstream systems.
- Manage cross-functional global teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, IT, vendors, and system integrators.
- Establish and execute Agile delivery models, including PI planning, sprint governance, backlog prioritization, and release management.
- Partner with business leaders to define future-state architecture, operating models, and value realization metrics.
- Ensure change management, user adoption, training strategy, and organizational readiness.
- Monitor program KPIs, financials, dependencies, and compliance requirements.
- Lead executive-level communications, steering committee updates, and stakeholder alignment.
- Identify risks and proactively mitigate delivery, technical, and organizational challenges.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of Program / Portfolio Management experience in large-scale enterprise technology programs.
- Hands-on PLM transformation experience with platforms such as:
- PTC Windchill
- Siemens Teamcenter
- Dassault ENOVIA / 3DEXPERIENCE
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar programs and distributed global teams.
- Strong understanding of Digital Thread, Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering Change, BOM management, and manufacturing integration.
- Expertise in Agile, SAFe, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience working with system integrators and offshore delivery models.
- Ability to translate business strategy into executable technology roadmaps.
- Excellent risk management, dependency tracking, and governance skills.
- Experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, and Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, or Semiconductor industries.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments (FDA, GxP, ISO, SOX).
- Exposure to Cloud PLM migrations, data migration, and legacy modernization.
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe Agilist, or Agile certifications.
- Experience with digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and connected products.
