You Are:

You are a visionary engineering leader with a passion for advancing semiconductor technology and building high-performing, collaborative teams. With an exceptional foundation in VLSI design and verification, you have evolved from a hands-on technical expert to a seasoned manager, adept at guiding large, diverse teams across multiple locations. Your background includes 10+ years as an individual contributor, followed by significant experience in people and project management, where you have successfully set up and scaled teams of 50+ engineers.

Your expertise spans ASIC and IP core design, verification strategies, and the latest industry protocols, including PCIe, MIPI-UFS, Unipro, SD-MMC, Ethernet, USB, and AMBA. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing strategic planning with technical execution and ensuring quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction. You are committed to continuous improvement, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity. Your communication skills enable you to confidently interact with executive leadership, customers, and cross-functional partners. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading and inspiring a large, multi-site team of engineers in the design and verification of advanced IP Cores for connectivity protocols.
  • Defining, envisioning, and executing innovative features and strategies for ASIC products, maintaining alignment with evolving market needs.
  • Overseeing hiring, resource planning, project management, and ensuring on-time, high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborating closely with customers, understanding their requirements, and ensuring solutions exceed expectations.
  • Establishing and optimizing technical processes, quality standards, and verification methodologies for IP design and SoC integration.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and growing engineering talent within the organization, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Interfacing with upper management, providing clear updates on project status, risks, and strategic opportunities.

What You'll Need:
  • BSEE with 18+ years or MSEE with 16+ years of relevant experience in VLSI/ASIC design and verification.
  • Proven expertise in protocols such as PCIe, MIPI-UFS, Unipro, SD-MMC, Ethernet, USB, and AMBA.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Verilog/System Verilog, simulation tools, and advanced verification methodologies (UVM/VMM/OVM/eRM).
  • Demonstrated ability in setting up and scaling engineering teams, technical process establishment, and project delivery management.
  • Extensive knowledge of synthesis flows, static timing analysis, formal checking, and revision control systems such as Perforce.
  • Track record in creating and optimizing test benches, managing coverage, and leveraging AI-based tools for verification efficiency.
