Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for an onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on participating in the full quality assurance lifecycle as part of a major project to replace a third-party risk application. The ideal candidate will work to ensure that all software products and components meet company standards and client requirements, interfacing directly with developers on test results and ensuring proper test plans and scripts are in place using JIRA and JIRA X-ray.
Responsibilities: - Participate in the quality assurance process and follow procedures to ensure all software meets company standards
- Perform code inspections, walk-throughs, design, and test-readiness reviews
- Review software and project documentation for completeness and adherence to standards
- Plan, execute, and summarize reliability and validation test cases
- Interface with developers on test results
- Assist in audits and reviews
- Write and execute test plans and cases for testing of software
Requirements: - 3 to 6 years of experience leading quality assurance projects or programs
- Experience in both manual and automated testing environments
- Test Case Development experience
- Usability Testing
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript for automation scripting
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG for automation
- Proficiency using version control systems like GIT or Bitbucket
- Familiarity with JIRA and Jira X-ray for bug tracking and reporting
- Strong understanding of test data validation
- Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies
Desired skills: - Hands-on experience with IntelliJ IDE
Pay range: $39.74 - $47.74 per hour
