Job Title: Senior Data Scientist (Predictive Modeling & Analytics)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of our predictive modeling ecosystem. You will be responsible for transforming ambiguous business challenges into concrete data science projects, building sophisticated models, and automating those models into production-grade data products.
This is a "full-stack" data science role. You won't just build models in a notebook; you will design, code, and deploy the entire lifecycle-from data ingestion and scoring to serving results on-demand. If you are an experienced data scientist who excels at identifying patterns in large datasets, loves automating workflows, and takes personal ownership of the business value your models deliver, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Modeling & Strategic Analytics
Predictive Architecture: Build high-accuracy predictive models for complex audience segmentation and strategic assessments. Utilize advanced statistical techniques (e.g., ensemble methods, decision trees, cluster analysis) to generate actionable insights.
Problem Scoping: Partner with business leaders to translate high-level goals into technical project requirements. Own the roadmap from problem definition to final recommendation.
Pattern Discovery: Leverage deep data mining to identify long-term trends, providing strategic recommendations that drive business decisions.
Engineering & Production
Productization: Design and code end-to-end data products. Implement the full scope of data ingestion, model refreshing, and scoring services (both ad-hoc and on-demand).
Automation: Collaborate directly with engineering teams to integrate models into production environments. Ensure high throughput and stability for all deployed solutions.
Troubleshooting: Act as a technical expert for deep-dive analyses, model performance tuning, and ad-hoc data investigations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience Baseline: 5+ years of applied, hands-on experience in Data Science, specifically mining large-scale datasets.
Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python; strong applied experience in advanced statistics and machine learning.
Ownership: Proven ability to deliver production-ready results in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment.
Preferred Attributes
Strong interest in building "Data Products" (automation, APIs, scoring services) rather than just static reports.
Exceptional communication skills-you can explain complex statistical outcomes to non-technical business partners without "dumbing it down."
A proactive, "Self-Starter" mindset-you don't wait for clean data; you create the pipelines to get it.
