We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data platforms on AWS. The ideal candidate should have solid experience with AWS data services, big data technologies, and ETL pipeline development.
<>Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, EMR, and Step Functions.
Build batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines from APIs, databases, and streaming platforms.
Develop and manage data lakes and warehouses using S3, Redshift, Athena, and Lake Formation.
Work with big data technologies like Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, and Hive.
Implement data modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and optimize data storage and performance.
Build CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows using CloudWatch and logging tools.
Implement data quality, governance, and security frameworks.
Strong experience with AWS Data Platform (Glue, S3, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, Athena)
Expertise in Spark / PySpark, Hadoop, Hive
Programming in Python and SQL (Scala is a plus)
Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
Strong understanding of data modeling and distributed systems
Must have strong AWS experience and previous experience working with Amazon in a similar role.
