IAM Engineer

Description
One of TEKsystems Financial Services clients is looking for an IAM engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract to hire engagement. Currently Identity and Access Management (IAM) responsibilities are fragmented across three different teams, leading to inefficiencies. The company is adjusting their process to bring all IAM functions under one unified team. The new IAM engineer will be a crucial part of this new consolidated IAM team. They would like a individual who has extensive experience in IAM (5-10 years) and can provide technical leadership They are looking for someone who can introduce best practices and challenge existing methods to improve process.

Top Skills Details
1. Hands on experience with Azure Entra ID ( all onboarding is done on this platform) Active Directory (Must for anyone in IAM) and Okta
2. The ideal candidate should possess both technical expertise and leadership qualities, capable of guiding the team with best practices and challenging existing methods
3. Experience monitoring IAM logs and alerts to detect suspicious activity
4. Nice to have experience with PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk or other vaulting solutions) and their implementation is highly valued, as the company plans to implement one.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
The position involves working with critical and evolving technologies such as Azure Entra ID (a must-have), AWS IAM (an almost must-have due to cloud migration), and potentially new PAM solutions
