Overview
Talent Groups is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex technology transformation initiatives for a large organization in the gaming and hospitality industry. This role will focus heavily on IT infrastructure programs including server refreshes, network upgrades, endpoint modernization, and telecommunications initiatives.
The ideal candidate has a strong background managing enterprise infrastructure projects and is comfortable working in a hybrid onsite environment in Las Vegas.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end to end delivery of IT infrastructure projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget
• Manage infrastructure initiatives including server refreshes, network upgrades, endpoint modernization, and telecommunications deployments
• Coordinate with vendors and third party partners to support system implementations and infrastructure rollouts
• Utilize structured waterfall project methodology for project planning, execution, and delivery
• Lead cross functional teams across IT, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure strong communication and collaboration
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining visibility into timelines and financial impact
• Track project budgets, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
• Support planning, documentation, and execution of infrastructure upgrades and technology initiatives
Qualifications
• Five plus years of experience managing enterprise IT projects, with a focus on infrastructure initiatives
• Experience managing projects such as server refreshes, network upgrades, infrastructure migrations, endpoint deployments, or telecommunications implementations
• Strong experience working in structured waterfall project environments
• Experience coordinating vendors and managing third party technology partners
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Basecamp, or similar platforms
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to lead cross functional teams in fast paced environments
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation plans
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
• PMP certification is preferred but not required
