Lead Installation Technician- Richmond

About the Opportunity

We're looking for a driven Lead Technician or strong Level II Technician ready to step into a leadership track. This is a great opportunity for someone who can work independently in the field and wants to grow into leading projects and teams.
You'll play a key role in deploying and supporting enterprise-level security systems, working hands-on while developing leadership skills with real support and training.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and support installation projects for enterprise security systems
• Install, terminate, configure, and test systems with minimal supervision
• Oversee job sites and coordinate team activities during installs
• Act as the main point of contact on-site for customers
• Ensure high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction
• Track project progress and maintain organized documentation

Technologies & Systems

You'll work across a range of modern physical security technologies, including:

• CCTV & IP Camera Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Intrusion/Alarm Systems
• Video Analytics Platforms
• Networked Security Devices
• Visitor Management Systems

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

Experience or certifications with any of the following:
Access Control:
Genetec, Lenel/S2, Software House, Pro-Watch, OpenPath
Video Systems:
Axis, Milestone, Avigilon, Exacq, Genetec, Hanwha, MaxPro, Victor
Intrusion Systems:
Bosch, DSC, DMP, Vista
Hardware:
ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin, Adams Rite

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in installation and troubleshooting of security systems
• Experience with access control, CCTV, and low-voltage/electrical work
• Ability to work independently and manage job responsibilities
• Leadership mindset or desire to grow into a lead role
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
