Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Scrum Leader to join our Managed Account Solutions platform team. This role is located in Berwyn, PA or New York, NY.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Optimize delivery, proactively manage flow, creatively solve problems, and navigate complex organizational relationships.
  • Ensure Scrum principles and practices are followed, and Scrum team events occur, are productive, and kept within timeboxes.
  • Remove impediments identified by teams and track and resolve team dependencies.
  • Facilitate and guide teams to deliver expected outcomes with high quality, including helping teams focus on creating increments of value and achieving daily and iteration goals.
  • Work with Product Owners, Portfolio and Product leaders to manage the program backlog, support healthy team dynamics, and foster innovation and implementation of strategic solutions.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on prioritization, commitment management, and making delivery trade-offs visible when priorities change.
  • Use delivery metrics and flow data to identify improvement opportunities, improve predictability, and support data-driven decision making.
  • Drive continuous improvement by fostering accountability, transparency, effective retrospectives, and a culture of learning and adaptation.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Previous technical experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Scrum Master role for software development teams for large initiatives.
  • Knowledge of various Agile approaches including Scrum, SAFe, XP, Kanban, and Spotify.
  • Experience with Agile techniques and tools such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly and translate ambiguous topics into actionable plans while working with multiple business, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills; preferred Agile certifications including CSM, PSM, or SAFe SSM.
