Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Build and optimize data architectures, data lakes, and warehouses
• Develop robust data processing systems using batch and streaming frameworks
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance
• Optimize performance of large-scale data systems
• Lead and mentor junior data engineers
• Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting mechanisms
• Work with cross-functional global teams in a remote environment

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering / big data
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Expertise in SQL and database optimization
• Hands-on experience with:
• Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka
• Workflow tools like Airflow
• Deep understanding of data modeling (OLAP, OLTP, dimensional modeling)
