Job Description

TechAGI Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Go (Golang), backend development, and cloud-native engineering.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable applications, building internal developer tools, improving CI/CD pipelines, and implementing modern DevOps and platform engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Build reusable frameworks, internal platforms, and developer productivity tools.

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS/Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Develop automation solutions using Python, Go, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Improve application scalability, reliability, security, and performance.

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and platform teams on technical initiatives.

• Support modernization of software development and deployment practices.

• Provide technical guidance and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on programming experience with Python and/or Go (Golang).

• Experience developing backend applications, REST APIs, and microservices.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and software architecture.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Experience with DevOps, automation, and platform engineering.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing internal developer platforms, reusable frameworks, and engineering tools.

• Familiarity with API gateways, secrets management, and infrastructure tooling.

• Exposure to AI-assisted engineering and workflow automation.

• Experience with large-scale data processing or ETL pipelines.

• Technical leadership experience in enterprise engineering environments.

Work Location: Candidates must be available to work onsite in Arlington, VA.
