CAD Engineer

We are looking for a skilled CAD Engineer to join our engineering team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and design documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on engineering and architectural specifications
2. Create shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed layouts
3. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy
4. Review and update drawings as per site requirements and design changes
5. Ensure drawings comply with local regulations, codes, and company standards
6. Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings
7. Support project execution with timely and accurate drawing submissions
8. Assist in resolving design and drafting-related issues during project execution

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
2. Experience with 3D modeling software (Revit / SolidWorks / CATIA - preferred)
3. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards
4. Knowledge of construction or manufacturing processes (depending on project type)

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Drafting
2. Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience as a CAD Engineer
3. Experience in construction / MEP / manufacturing / infrastructure projects preferred
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
