Summary

Job Title: GIS Engineer - Geographic Information Systems Engineer

Location: Houston, TX Onsite Day 1

Duration: Contract/Full Time

JD:

  • Manage 5G NSA/SA and VoNR compliance, ensuring E911 call delivery accuracy.
  • Lead FCC filings (NORS, DIRS) and PSAP outage notifications.
  • Drive roadmap for E911 & Text-to-911; support CALEA & STIR/SHAKEN programs.
  • Partner with vendors/legal to maintain regulatory complianc Developing Bash scripts to automate configuration, data collection, and testing processes.
  • Analyzing KPIs, conducting drive tests, and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Executing software upgrades, feature activations, and parameter reconfigurations.
  • Analyzed and optimized LTE/VoLTE/5G sites, focusing on throughput issues, QCI1 drops, and handover failures
