The Clinical Project Manager will lead and manage assigned clinical projects from initiation through delivery, partnering closely with third-party vendors and internal clinical and technical stakeholders. This role is responsible for translating clinical workflows and terminology into clear, actionable project plans while tracking timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. The Clinical Project Manager will facilitate project meetings, provide regular status updates, and proactively identify and resolve issues as they arise. Close collaboration with project leadership is essential, as is the ability to adapt to evolving project scopes and priorities as gaps are identified and initiatives are further defined.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience managing clinical projects
- Proven experience running clinical projects end-to-end
- General clinical experience (hands-on or operational)
- Strong understanding of clinical terminology and workflows
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and processes
- Experience working with third-party vendors
- Ability to work independently without SME-level expertise while effectively leveraging available SMEs
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Desired Skills:
- Nursing background (preferred, not required)
- Experience transitioning from nursing into IT or informatics
- Local candidate
- Experience with genomics, lab systems, PowerScribe, LifePoint, or similar third-party integrations
