Validation Engineer | East Lansing, MI

Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation protocols for equipment, processes, and software.
• Perform IQ, OQ, and PQ activities for new and modified systems.
• Analyze validation data and author comprehensive validation reports.
• Investigate and resolve deviations and non-conformances during validation activities.
• Ensure all validation activities comply with cGMP, FDA, and internal quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Manufacturing, Quality) to define validation strategies.
• Maintain and update validation documentation throughout the system lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Familiarity with automation systems and software (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, MES).
• Certifications in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience with risk management methodologies (e.g., FMEA, PHA).
