Job Overview: This role serves as a technical consultant and senior individual contributor within the Enterprise Data Analytics team, delivering advanced analytics and data science solutions that support operational reliability, grid modernization, customer experience, and clean energy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytics and machine learning solutions aligned with business objectives. They will work closely with various business units to identify high-value use cases and deliver actionable insights.
Responsibilities: - Partner with business units to identify high-value data science use cases.
- Design, build, and deploy predictive, prescriptive, and diagnostic models.
- Apply advanced techniques such as time series forecasting, optimization, NLP, and anomaly detection.
- Develop end-to-end data science solutions, from data acquisition to post-production monitoring.
- Support implementation of MLOps best practices for scalable and reliable analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, and cloud architects to ensure production-ready models.
- Create intuitive visualizations, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, contributing to analytics standards and best practices.
- Support the organization's commitment to safety, reliability, affordability, and clean energy transformation.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Data Science using Python or R, with a focus on large, complex, and high-volume datasets.
- Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights for business leaders and executives.
- Experience creating interactive dashboards and applications (e.g., RShiny, Power BI, Streamlit, Dash).
- Strong experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Working knowledge of MLOps practices, including model lifecycle management and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud and modern analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, Databricks).
- Understanding of governance, security, and regulatory requirements for enterprise data environments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with large-scale commercial utilities or capital projects.
- Understanding and/or experience with data engineering concepts.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Pre-Screen Questions: - Do you have at least 5 years of hands-on experience working as a Data Scientist using Python or R on production projects involving large, complex, high-volume datasets? If yes, briefly describe the types of datasets and use cases.
- Have you designed and deployed end-to-end data science solutions, including real production deployment? If yes, provide details.

Pay Range: $55 - $61/hr. W2
