Senior .NET Developer

• Performs highly advanced senior-level computer programming work.

• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes.

• Investigates problem areas and prepares/installs solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

• Writes, tests, debugs, and documents complex programs, including client/server and web-based applications using C# (.NET), Blazor, and SQL.

• Designs, develops, and implements specialized programs or routines to enhance front and back-end web-based applications using HTML5, CSS, C# .NET Blazor, SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server.

• Collaborates with systems analysts, architects, and business teams to gather/validate requirements and model solutions.

• Provides application support through diagnosis of problems and implementation of changes.

• Experience in developing and enhancing licensing systems, including migrating functionality to modern platforms with legacy data portability.

• Proficiency in Visual Studio 2022, .NET Core 9.0, Oracle DB, DevExpress tools.

• Conducts research and analysis to supplement and enhance applications.

• Recommends improvements to processes for application development projects.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (8+ years experience).

• Experience (8+ years):

  • Senior-level software application analysis and workflow optimization.

  • Root cause analysis and resolution.

  • Leading design and development of web-based applications.

  • Programming in multiple languages: .NET, HTML/HTML5, ASP, Java, JSP, SQL, Stored Procedures.

  • Full SDLC experience across all phases.

  • Application administration and management.

  • Leading SDLC projects from scope to deployment.

  • Web programming proficiency: .NET/C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Oracle, SQL Server.

• Agile SDLC: 6+ years.

• Security & Compliance: 5+ years programming for information/network security.

• Leadership: 5+ years leading SDLC teams, code validation, technical documentation, and customer demos.

• Tools: 4+ years with Azure DevOps, Jira (or similar).

• Blazor: 2+ years programming in C# .NET Blazor.

Preferred

• 4+ years porting Java → C# .NET Blazor.

• Responsive web design practices.

• WCAG accessibility implementation.

• Previous experience with similar systems in state agency environments.
