Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, provides specialized expertise across multiple systems and software disciplines, with general knowledge of related technologies and application implications.
Responsible for in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support.
Certification: IAT Level II Certification. (MUST HAVE)
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and conversion for new hardware/software products.
Maintaining, debugging, and configuring software products.
Operating systems planning and evaluation for performance analysis, capacity planning, and hardware upgrades.
Developing or modifying operating systems applications from specifications.
Assisting with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation.
Interfacing with other support groups to resolve problems, set standards, and improve efficiency.
Preparing product documentation and gathering customer requirements.
Minimum Requirements (Required):
Experience: 8+ years in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).
COTS Maintenance: Hands-on experience with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product maintenance.
Certification: IAT Level II Certifications. (MUST HAVE)
Additional Required Skills
4+ years of experience with application maintenance on UNIX/Linux/Windows servers.
4+ years of solid experience in Azure IL5 GovCloud, including managing AKS environments using Azure CLI/Kubectl.
3+ years of experience deploying Helm charts using ArgoCD.
Experience with MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server.
2+ years of experience with DoD/DLA networks.
Advanced technical knowledge in applications programming, including system design, updates, firewalls, storage, and retrieval methods.
