Summary

A growing B2B marketplace company in Chicago is hiring a full-time Product Manager to help scale its ecommerce and purchasing platform. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) sits at the core of a high-transaction marketplace that blends B2B and B2B2C experiences, with a strong focus on payments, conversion, and customer journeys across web and mobile.

This is an opportunity for a product manager who wants ownership, visibility, and impact. The team is looking for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, digging into data, and turning insights into shipped product. You'll play a key role in improving how users discover products, move through checkout, and transact efficiently in a complex marketplace environment all while partnering closely with engineering, design, and operations.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of Product Management experience in ecommerce, SaaS, or marketplace platforms
  • Hands-on experience with B2B marketplaces (B2B2C a strong plus)
  • Strong background in payments, checkout flows, or billing integrations
  • Proven ability to improve top-of-funnel conversion, onboarding, or acquisition flows
  • Deep experience using product analytics tools (Google Analytics or similar)
  • Experience writing clear, detailed product requirements and working closely with engineering teams

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience working on two-sided marketplaces or purchasing platforms
  • Exposure to API or third-party integrations
  • Background in user research, experimentation, or A/B testing
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools
  • Experience supporting both web and mobile product experiences
