Lead Data Scientist

This is a hands-on, production-focused role where the selected candidate will work on high-impact problems, build deployable machine learning solutions, and influence business decisions at senior leadership levels.

Key Responsibilities
• Own projects end-to-end from problem framing through model deployment
• Develop and deploy predictive models that drive measurable business outcomes
• Build production-ready pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and monitoring frameworks
• Apply modern ML/AI techniques to improve performance and accelerate insights
• Present analytical findings to technical and business stakeholders
• Mentor team members and contribute to technical direction (Senior/Lead level)

Required Skills
• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (PhD preferred)
• Strong Python and SQL experience
• Expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning
• Experience with GLMs and tree-based models (XGBoost, LightGBM, etc.)
• Experience deploying models into production environments
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with large, complex datasets

Nice to Have
• AI / NLP / Deep Learning exposure
• Insurance domain experience
