W2 Contract
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This position requires the candidate to be engaged exclusively on Maxpath Technologies’ W2 payroll. Engagements via 1099 or third-party/sub-vendor or Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not accepted.
Job Duties:
1. Application Maintenance & Support
• Maintain and support the CA Plex-based CMS across multiple environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, defects, and data anomalies
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes
• Provide on-call or escalation support for critical system issues
2. Feature Enhancements & Business Logic Updates
• Design, develop, and implement enhancements within the CA Plex model
• Modify existing:
o Business rules
o Screens and workflows
o Batch processes and reports
• Ensure all changes align with judicial policies and statutory requirements
3. CA Plex Model Development
• Work directly within the CA Plex development environment to:
o Update objects, functions, and relationships
o Regenerate and deploy application components
• Maintain integrity of the model-driven architecture as the system evolves
4. Database & Data Integrity Management
• Write and optimize SQL Server (T-SQL) queries, stored procedures, and data fixes
• Support:
o Data corrections (e.g., invalid dates, missing relationships)
o Performance tuning for large datasets (millions of records)
• Ensure data accuracy across integrated systems
5. System Integration Support
• Maintain and support integrations with:
o Law enforcement (e.g., SLED)
o DMV eDisposition
o eCitation systems
o Public Index and eFiling platforms
• Assist in adapting legacy I/O processes as APIs are introduced Statement of Work (SOW)
Knowledge Services
6. Reporting & Data Support
• Support reporting needs by:
o Developing queries and extracts
o Assisting with data feeds into the Data Warehouse
• Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure data consistency
7. Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
• Work closely with:
o Court Administration
o IT leadership and development teams
• Translate business requirements into technical updates within the CMS
8. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
• Document:
o System changes
o Business rules
o Technical processes
• Assist in knowledge transfer to internal staff and modernization teams
Required Skills, Education and/or Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 15+ years of CA Plex development experience
• 15+ years of experience working with Judicial Case Management Systems
• 15+ years working with MS SQL Database
• 10+ years developing Data Interfaces exchanging court data with outside agencies
• 10+ years of experience deploying and installing applications in a distributed environment
• 10+ years of documentation experience related to the design, development, implementation and deployment of applications and/or interfaces
Preferred Skills, Education and/or Certifications:
• Experience in South Carolina court/judicial systems
• Experience with C++, Java, or .NET from Plex
• Experience with Batch processing and transactional systems
• API integrations
• Data warehousing environments
• Always On Availability Groups
• Azure DevOps
