Position: Product Testing Engineer / Specialist – Soft Goods

Location: Boulder, CO
Work Mode: Full-time, onsite

Role Overview
Responsible for end-to-end product testing, validation, and quality assurance of softgoods to ensure compliance with engineering requirements and OK2Ship standards before shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute EVT/DVT/PVT testing for softgoods (bags, textiles, assemblies)
• Perform functional, durability, usability, and environmental testing
• Define and execute OK2Ship criteria; approve/reject shipments
• Conduct Incoming (IQC) and Outgoing (OQC) quality inspections
• Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive CAPA
• Maintain test documentation, reports, and traceability
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3–7 years in softgoods product testing / quality engineering
• Strong knowledge of softgoods materials and construction
• Hands-on experience with EVT/DVT/PVT validation
• Expertise in IQC, OQC, and OK2Ship processes
• Experience in defect analysis, CAPA, and quality improvement
• Ability to validate against engineering specs and test protocols
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with AQL, ISO standards, and global suppliers
• Background in consumer, medical, or industrial softgoods
