Job Summary
Our customer is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for their Fleet EAM Project.
The developer should have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, OData services, Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The candidate will design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications and integrations, with a focus on scalable, high-performance solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and support ABAP solutions in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Build and enhance RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
• Develop and optimize CDS views for reporting, data modeling, and application performance.
• Create and maintain OData services for SAP Fiori and external integrations.
• Develop AMDP and HANA-optimized logic for performance-intensive processing.
• Work with SAP BTP services for extensions, integrations, and cloud-based application development.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, architects, and basis teams to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ABAP and HANA artifacts.
• Support integrations using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, and middleware platforms.
• Implement enhancements using BAdIs, user exits, enhancement spots, and implicit/explicit enhancements.
• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Ensure development follows SAP standards, security guidelines, and transport management processes.
• Prepare technical design documents, code documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP development.

• Experience with SAP Fiori backend development and service enablement.

• Experience with integration technologies such as IDocs, RFC, BAPI, REST, SOAP, and APIs.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle, change management, and transport processes.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with SAP BTP, including extension development and integration capabilities.
• Exposure to RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and CAP is a plus.
• Experience with Embedded Analytics, analytical CDS views, and KPI reporting.
• Familiarity with Fiori Elements and annotation-driven development.
• Functional Knowledge of SAP modules such as EAM, PM, PS, IM(Investment Management), MM, Ariba, SD, FI, CO, PP, WM/EWM and Open Text VIM.
• SAP certification in ABAP, S/4HANA, or BTP is preferred.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.
