job summary:
We are seeking an AV/VTC Support Technician to join our team on-site supporting a major federal government infrastructure contract in Washington, DC. In this role, you will ensure the seamless operation of conference room technology, collaboration tools, and high-visibility live event broadcasts. You will serve as a key technical resource, maintaining system readiness and delivering high-quality user support and documentation.

responsibilities:
Proactively inspect, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot front-end AV/VTC equipment across conference rooms, auditoriums, and multipurpose spaces.
Deliver end-user support for collaboration platforms, including Webex and Microsoft Teams, for meeting startup, content sharing, and issue resolution.
Support live event productions (town halls, commission meetings, high-visibility sessions), including webcast/streaming operations and live audio/video handling.
Perform post-production editing for recorded events to deliver high-quality final media outputs.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors for specialized services such as live captioning and interpretation support.
Conduct user training sessions and develop manuals, workbooks, quick reference guides, and job aids for room technologies and workflows.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise or government AV/VTC environments and live event production.
Strong expertise with Microsoft Teams and Webex collaboration platforms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification.
Dante Level 1 or Level 2 certification.
Prior experience supporting executive-level events within a federal agency environment.
