What you'll do

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wireless & Network Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure team! This role supports enterprise and campus networks distributed across North America, EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and remote environments. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience in Wi-Fi, routing, switching, security, and large-scale multi-vendor environments. This engineer will be responsible for architecture, design, deployment, optimization, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of advanced wireless and wired networks. You will work closely with multi-functional engineering teams, operations, customer care partners to ensure global network reliability, performance, and scalability.

The day-to-day

Wireless Engineering
  • Architect, deploy, and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi networks across global hospitality, campus, and multi-site environments.
  • Lead wireless upgrades, site surveys, capacity planning, and RF optimization.
  • Manage and support multi-vendor wireless infrastructures including Ruckus, Aruba, Arista, and Cisco.

Network Engineering (Routing/Switching/Security)
  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN/SD-WAN architectures.
  • Implement and support multi-vendor switching and routing solutions including Fortinet, Ruckus, Arista, Nokia, and Calix.
  • Troubleshoot complex global network issues across layers 1-7, including RF, routing, authentication, and application performance.

Global Network Operations
  • Support global deployments, expansions, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Provide operational leadership for outages and escalations.
  • Maintain resiliency through proactive monitoring, observability, and automation.
  • Document standards, playbooks, and network topology for operations teams.

Automation & Tooling
  • Develop scripts to automate configuration, validation, and monitoring (Python, Bash, Ansible preferred).
  • Build telemetry dashboards and network health pipelines.
  • Implement Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) workflows.

What you'll need

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in wireless, routing, switching, and enterprise network engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior engineering role.
  • Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi across at least two vendors (Ruckus, Aruba, Arista, Cisco).
  • Strong knowledge of routing/switching including L2/L3 design, STP, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and EVPN.
  • Experience with firewalls, SD-WAN, and security platforms (Fortinet preferred).
  • Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel 40%; domestically and internationally as needed
  • Required participation in scheduled on-call rotation.
  • ship or Permanent Resident Status.
  • Able to work out of our office in College Station, TX as needed

What will help you on the job

  • Experience with GPON, XGSPON, DOCSIS, fiber access networks, ONT/OLT provisioning
  • Scripting/automation experience (Python, Ansible, APIs).
  • Experience designing networks for campus, hospitality, education, retail, or large enterprise.
  • Experience with RADI802.1X, NAC, IAM, and zero-trust networking.
  • Certifications such as CWNA, CWDP, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or NSE

Salary range

$147,000.00 - $232,000.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $183,000.00- $274,000.00/ annually
