Summary

Job title: Full Stack Engineer
Duration: 3+ months (but likely to extend)
Location: Remote US or Remote LATAM

Responsibilities

Build responsive, accessible, and high-quality user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
Design data flows and application architecture that support reliability, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver features end to end.
Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement of development practices.
Create and maintain automated tests across frontend and backend components.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation, and iterative delivery.
Stay current with modern web development practices and recommend improvements to tools and processes.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in full-stack or web application development.
Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
Proficiency with Tailwind CSS or a comparable utility-first CSS framework.
Experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs.
Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, browser behavior, and responsive design.
Experience with backend development in at least one modern language or framework.
Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases and common data modeling concepts.
Experience with Git-based development workflows, pull requests, and code reviews.
Understanding of software testing principles and automated testing tools.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Node.js, Express, NestJS, or a similar backend framework.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or another production database.
Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and API security best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containers, or observability tools.
Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
Experience working with OpenAPI or similar API documentation standards.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and performance optimization techniques.
Experience working in a product-focused Agile environment.
