ROLE: ENTERPRISE DATA ARCHITECT

LOCATION: JACKSONVILLE, FL
ALTERNATE: Remote (Travel On Need Basis)
EXPERIENCE: 17–19 years
DOMAIN: Healthcare (Mandatory)

Role Overview:

·       The Enterprise Data Architect will lead the end-to-end data architecture strategy for largescale cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

·       This role is responsible for defining the target state architecture, governing standards, and ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Define and own enterprise-wide data and analytics architecture for cloud-based platforms.

·       Lead migration from legacy/onprem data platforms to modern Lakehouse architectures.

·       Design and govern Snowflake Lakehouse implementations leveraging Apache Iceberg.

·       Establish and enforce medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns. Define enterprise standards for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.

·       Drive data governance, security, lineage, and compliance frameworks. Collaborate with solution architects, data architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.

·       Review architecture designs, provide technical guidance, and resolve cross program dependencies.

·       Ensure alignment with enterprise IT, security, and compliance policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

·       17+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture and large transformation programs.

·       Strong expertise in Snowflake, cloud Lakehouse architectures, and Apache Iceberg.

·       Experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms and cloud native data services. Deep knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks.

·       Experience leading large-scale platform migrations in regulated environments. Excellent stakeholder communication and architecture governance skills.
