Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or similar technologies.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify testing scope and quality risks.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or Bugzilla.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, etc.
- Validate backend systems through database testing using SQL queries.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Ensure compliance with QA best practices, test standards, and quality processes.
- Perform performance, compatibility, and cross-browser testing where applicable.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives.
