Epic Application Analyst with strong
Epic Unified Communications and Qgenda experience to join a stable, collaborative IT team. This is a
permanent, fully remote opportunity offering meaningful ownership, system integration work, and long-term growth.
Position SummaryIn this role, you will be responsible for the design, integration, build, and optimization of Epic Unified Communications and the Qgenda platform. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to translate workflow and business needs into effective Epic solutions that support patient care, provider efficiency, and organizational outcomes.
You will collaborate across interdisciplinary workgroups to design future-state workflows, configure and maintain applications, support testing and go-live activities, and continuously enhance system functionality.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary Epic subject matter expert for Unified Communications and Qgenda, owning application design, build, validation, and optimization
- Assess current-state workflows and collaborate with operational stakeholders to design and implement future-state solutions
- Translate clinical, operational, and revenue workflow requirements into appropriate Epic system configuration
- Demonstrate system functionality and provide regular status updates to IT leadership, project managers, and lead analysts
- Coordinate and participate in interdisciplinary workgroups, project meetings, and team discussions
- Develop, maintain, and support system documentation, standards, and procedures
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement approved changes based on defined priorities
- Review, test, and validate new releases, upgrades, and enhancements prior to production deployment
- Adhere to established build standards, naming conventions, issue tracking, and change control processes
- Collaborate with training leadership on the development of role-based training materials and support end-user education
- Contribute to test planning and execution, including unit, system, and integrated testing, with clear documentation of results
- Support activation planning, readiness activities, and production go-live support as needed
- Provide on-site or remote support during go-live or system downtime events, as required
Required Qualifications- Active Epic Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
- 3+ years of Epic experience in a healthcare environment
- Hands-on experience with Epic Unified Communications and Qgenda, preferably within a large health system
- Strong understanding of healthcare operational and clinical workflows
- Experience working collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Skills & Experience- Epic certification required
- Experience supporting Epic integrations and complex workflows
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-based environment
Work Environment & Location- Work Model: 100% Remote

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
