**Overview:**  
Seeking a seasoned professional to administer and enhance enterprise batch processes, leveraging OpCon automation solutions integrated with modern cloud resources and monitoring platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure robust job scheduling, production stability, and timely resolution of critical batch incidents in a 24/7 operational environment.

**Core Competencies:**
- Minimum five (5) years in batch processing or workload automation roles.
- Flexibility to work rotational and overnight schedules as part of a support team.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex job schedules and process dependencies using OpCon or similar enterprise workload automation platforms.
- Hands-on proficiency in cloud infrastructure, notably Microsoft Azure DevOps and AWS services, specifically experience with AWS RDS/Postgres.
- Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting skills for custom automation and process integration.
- Proficient in collaborating with product vendors on upgrades, patches, and platform enhancement.
- Experience in monitoring tools such as Splunk for log analysis, custom alerting, and dashboard/report development.
- Adept at coordinating with application and infrastructure teams to triage, document, and resolve job failures, and create a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Competency in creating and tuning SQL scripts for batch reporting and process troubleshooting.

**Responsibilities:**
- Design, document, and estimate changes or enhancements to batch/job workflows as per evolving business needs.
- Administer and support production batch workloads (200+ jobs), ensuring optimal schedule organization for efficient management.
- Direct and oversee the configuration lifecycle of job schedules, including migration and version management across multiple environments.
- Tune operational jobs for enhanced performance and reliability, addressing issues and minimizing potential disruptions.
- Provide system administration for OpCon scheduler, covering job setup, user access controls, and security best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated monitoring solutions using Splunk and related tools for batch oversight (e.g., SFTP indexing and web reporting).
- Produce daily operational status summaries and distribute reports to stakeholders.
- Document procedures, support runbooks, and contribute to incident management systems (e.g., Azure DevOps) for batch job tracking and escalation.
- Engage in shell scripting and SQL development as required to support job execution and reporting pipelines.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certifications in relevant workload automation platforms, cloud deployment (e.g., AWS/Azure), or Unix/Linux system administration.
- Prior experience in large, mission-critical enterprise environments.
