Summary
Pay range: $55 - $60 per Hour
This role involves creating, editing, and managing a wide range of technical and operational documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, and design specifications. The ideal candidate will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), manage graphics, maintain document repositories, and ensure all content adheres to professional and corporate standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and manage a variety of technical documents, operational procedures, templates, and manuals
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and work with SMEs to gather and verify information
- Structure documents logically to ensure ease of reading and maintain a professional tone
- Manage the intake of documentation support requests and prioritize workload
- Coordinate the review and version control of all documentation, including SOPs and product manuals
- Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, ensuring accuracy and professional writing
- Create, manipulate, and manage graphics such as workflows, organizational charts, and screen captures
- Research, develop, and document technical design specifications
- Participate in client meetings, lead documentation reviews, and follow up on action items
- Proven experience in researching, developing, and documenting technical specifications and operational procedures
- Prior experience as a Technical Writer with a Medicaid project.
- Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex information into clear, professional documentation
- Proficiency with document and graphic management software (e.g., MS Word, Visio, Photoshop)
- Strong skills in formatting, grammar, and editing to maintain corporate and business standards
- Experience managing document repositories and ensuring version control
- Ability to identify and appropriately redact sensitive information (PHI)
- Excellent communication skills for leading meetings and interviewing stakeholders
