Job Summary

The Manager, Business Analysis Financial Systems (Development & Integrations) leads a team responsible for delivering new capabilities, system enhancements, and strategic integrations across financial and operational platforms. This role partners closely with Finance, IT, and Operations to define requirements, design scalable solutions, and enable efficient data flows across the enterprise. Within a freight forwarding and logistics environment, this position plays a key role in advancing system capabilities, improving financial visibility, and ensuring seamless integration with platforms such as CargoWise and other Operating Companies in our network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of business analysts focused on new system capabilities, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and Operations stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements.
• Drive the design and delivery of enhancements to financial systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability needs.
• Oversee end-to-end business analysis activities including requirements definition, process mapping, solution design, testing, and implementation support.
• Lead integration initiatives between ERP systems, logistics platforms, and downstream data environments.
• Design data flows and integration patterns that support scalable delivery of financial data to downstream consumers, including:
• Monthly financial reporting and close processes
• Daily operational reporting and analytics
• Near real-time data services supporting billing, shipment visibility, and operational decision-making
• Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to implement ETL, API-based, and event-driven integration solutions.
• Ensure new solutions adhere to data governance standards, financial controls, and audit requirements.
• Partner with the Financial Master Data Manager to align system design with master data structures and governance policies.
• Manage testing strategies including UAT coordination, defect resolution, and business validation.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and track KPIs related to delivery timelines, solution quality, and business value realization.
• Act as an escalation point for complex project and integration challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5 7+ years of experience in business analysis, financial systems, or large-scale system implementations.
• Proven experience managing teams delivering system enhancements, integrations, or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of financial processes (e.g., GL, AP, AR, billing, revenue recognition).
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
• Experience with system integrations, including APIs, ETL processes, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong project delivery, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industries.
• Experience implementing or enhancing CargoWise or similar transportation management systems.
• Familiarity with data governance and master data management (MDM) frameworks.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of audit and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX).
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, CPA, or CMA.
