Summary

Location: Onsite, multiple locations across the 7-county Twin Cities metro. Reliable transportation required.

Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours. Work performed both indoors and outdoors.

About the role

AgileGov is hiring a hands-on Network Technician to support a public-sector client''''s infrastructure across multiple sites in the Twin Cities metro. This is field work, not a desk role. You''''ll be physically installing and replacing network hardware, supporting the engineering team on connectivity issues, and moving equipment between sites. If you like being on your feet, working with your hands, and seeing the physical side of a network come together, this is a good fit.

What you''''ll do

  • Install and replace physical network switches and ports across the client''''s facilities
  • Support System Engineers in diagnosing and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
  • Identify, transport, and safely load and secure hardware equipment in client vehicles
  • Assist engineers with the layout and setup of new infrastructure equipment
  • Document work performed using photos, notes, and shared spreadsheets
  • Communicate setup issues, schedules, and completion status with the network team
  • Provide knowledge transfer to other team members as needed

What you need

  • High school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of relevant experience, OR an Associate degree or two-year technical certification plus 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Comfort with physical work: lifting equipment, working in mechanical/server spaces, and moving between sites
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver''''s license

Nice to have

  • Cisco certification
  • Azure certification
  • Experience with general low-voltage power, multimedia connectivity, and SolarWinds
  • Ability to read blueprints and floor plans

You''''ll be joining a team that values a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
