Our client seeks a Policy & Procedure Documentation Specialist to develop, maintain, and enhance organizational policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, and related governance documentation. This role partners with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, risk and compliance teams, and operational leaders to ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, easy to use, and aligned with organizational objectives. The specialist drives consistency across documentation standards while supporting regulatory, audit, operational excellence, and process improvement initiatives.

Rate: $40.00 to $45.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, and governance documentation.
Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, risk and compliance teams, and operational leaders to capture accurate and compliant content.
Ensure documentation is clear, usable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Drive consistency across documentation standards, templates, and taxonomy.
Support regulatory, audit, operational excellence, and process improvement initiatives through effective documentation.
Manage version control, approvals, and document lifecycle governance.
Measure and improve documentation quality, accessibility, and adoption.

Experience Requirements:

Experience creating and managing policies, procedures, and governance documentation in regulated or complex environments.
Proficiency with documentation standards, style guides, and controlled vocabularies.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Ability to translate complex processes and controls into clear, user-centered content.
Familiarity with audit, risk, and compliance requirements.
Experience with document management systems and version control practices.
