Job Title: Senior Python Developer 

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with 13+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python, cloud technologies, microservices architecture, API development, and database management. Experience working in Agile environments and leading technical initiatives is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Python applications.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Develop microservices-based applications with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
• Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and Architects.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in technical design discussions.
• Ensure application security, code quality, and compliance with coding standards.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Python.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with asynchronous programming using AsyncIO or Celery.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Knowledge of authentication and security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or Unittest.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• Exposure to AI/ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn is a plus.
• Experience with ETL, data processing, or big data technologies is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 13+ years of professional software development experience.
