Summary

Position: Business Analyst
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)
Duration: 9 Months Contract

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor''s Degree
5+ years of experience in Business Analysis
Expertise in creating BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, and Traceability Matrices
Experience with Business Process Modeling and Workflow Design (Visio, BPMN, etc.)
Strong understanding of SDLC including analysis, design, testing, implementation, and support
Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments using Jira or similar tools
Hands-on experience with UAT, test case development, defect tracking, and testing support
Strong data analysis skills using SQL, Advanced Excel, and/or Power BI
Knowledge of Systems Integration concepts including REST/SOAP APIs and data validation
Experience with Salesforce, ERP systems, or other enterprise platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Certified Administrator or Business Analyst Certification
CBAP/PBA Certification
MCSE/CSEP Certification
Knowledge of Child Welfare systems and business processes

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements
Develop business workflows, wireframes, user stories, and functional/non-functional requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, developers, QA teams, and support teams
Support testing activities including UAT planning, execution, and defect management
Analyze complex business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements
Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
Ensure compliance with SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and IT governance standards
Participate in strategic planning, process improvement initiatives, and enterprise system implementations
