Summary

Baer is looking for SAP Data Migration Architect for a 12+ month Federal remote project.
Title: SAP Data Migration Architect
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Role Overview
The SAP Data Migration Architect will lead one of the most critical components of an ERP transformation: delivering clean, accurate, and compliant data into a unified S/4HANA environment. This role is responsible for defining and executing the data migration approach across multiple legacy SAP ECC systems.
Description:

  • Define and own the data migration strategy and roadmap for ECC to S/4HANA
  • Lead data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities
  • Design migration objects and oversee execution using SAP migration tools
  • Partner with functional teams to define data scope, rules, and transformation logic
  • Establish data governance, controls, and auditability standards
  • Support mock conversions, cutover planning, and go-live readiness
  • Identify and mitigate data risks across the migration lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of SAP data migration experience, including ECC to S/4HANA programs
  • Strong knowledge of SAP data structures across finance and logistics
  • Hands-on experience with SAP migration frameworks and tools
  • Proven ability to manage data quality, reconciliation, and stakeholder expectations
