Job Description:

Your daily tasks:

• Ensure timely and high-quality software releases across diverse devices by proactively monitoring metrics and alerting systems.
• Promptly respond to critical field issues, identify root causes, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot E2E issues in broadband devices in various RDK broadband components like Wi-Fi/Mesh, DOCSIS, Fiber, LTE, or similar access network

Key Responsibilities

• Issue Troubleshooting: Respond to critical field and production issues for RDK-B (Reference Design Kit - Broadband) devices.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Identify underlying software or network problems and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Release Monitoring: Monitor metrics, telemetry, and alerting systems to ensure high-quality software deployments across diverse broadband hardware.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional engineering, operations, and vendor teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Programming/Scripting: Strong hands-on experience in C/C++, Python, Bash, or Go.
• Operating Systems: Deep working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Monitoring & Log Analysis: Experience with tools like Splunk, Elastic Stack (ELK), Grafana, or Amazon Athena/SQL.
• DevOps & Tools: Familiarity with Git/GitHub for source control and Jira for defect tracking.
