Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure APIM Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise API solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure API Management (APIM), API security, cloud integration, and microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and implement API solutions using Azure API Management (APIM).
Define API governance, security standards, and lifecycle management practices.
Design secure, scalable integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and other Azure services.
Develop APIM policies for authentication, rate limiting, caching, and routing.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
Collaborate with application, cloud, and security teams to drive API strategy and best practices.
 
Required Skills:
8+ years of architecture/integration experience.
5+ years of hands-on Azure APIM experience.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and microservices.
Expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Azure Entra ID.
Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Preferred:
Azure Solutions Architect certification.
Experience with AKS/Kubernetes and event-driven architectures.
