Senior IT Specialist
Role Summary
An IT professional who contributes to the strategic planning and hands-on execution of technology
initiatives, providing technical support, managing IT resources, and implementing security best
practices to support the organization''s growth.
Responsibilities
β In partnership with other leaders in the organization, contribute to the planning and
organization of the company''s technology infrastructure, including employee devices,
software, and networking systems.
β Execute the instalation, configuration, and maintenance of al technology systems,
including software provisioning, and software applications.
β Extensive and demonstrable experience with managing infrastructure in AWS cloud.
β Diagnose and resolve technical issues for employees, providing timely and effective support
for hardware, software, and network problems.
β Assist in the development, writing, and implementation of IT related policies and procedures
to ensure the security and integrity of al company systems and data.
β Support the development and implementation of an employee IT ticketing system and
contribute to the help desk function.
β Provide input for the IT budget, including the procurement of hardware, software, and other
IT resources.
β Provide technical training and support to new and existing employees on IT systems,
software, and security protocols.
β Contribute to the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business
continuity plans to ensure the availability of a l technology systems in the event of a
disruption.
β Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make
recommendations to management regarding the adoption of new technology solutions.
β Prepare the company for continued scale with compliance needs, e.g. SOC2 or ISO 27001
and monitor IT systems for security threats, assist in incident response procedures, and
implement security best practices to protect company data.
β Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT procedures, system
configurations, and troubleshooting guides to support internal teams and users.
β Maintain an accurate inventory of al IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and
cloud services.
β Colaborate with external vendors and suppliers for IT-related services, hardware, and
software, ensuring efficient procurement and support.
β Develop and implement scripts or automation tools to streamline IT operations and improve
efficiency.
β Other duties as assigned from time to time
Nice to Have
β Experience with managing infrastructure in Google cloud.
β Experience with migrating applications and data from Google Cloud Platform to AWS (cloud migrations).
Other Requirements
β C1 or higher English proficiency, experience communicating technical information in
English, and strong communication skills.
β Ability to work remotely in either EST or CST timezones.
