Project Manager

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Project Manager for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing and managing projects to collectively deliver desired business outcomes


• Project managers lead a variety of different types of projects utilizing several different methodologies including large scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process re-engineering, and infrastructure upgrade and deployments


• Project managers may manage multiple projects and may have end to end responsibility for the work effort and may lead both technology and non-technology initiatives


• Project Manager will also be responsible for project financials partner closely with Line of Business Change Management teams to provide updates on technology deliverables


• This person is responsible for end-to-end technology delivery of the assigned project and is the primary point of escalation for technology issues


• Drives overall technology execution and manages line of business stakeholder relationships and acts as their advocate throughout the life of the project


• Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion


• Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies


• Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed


• Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change


• Responsible for financials and project documents


• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Change Management experience


• Hands on experience managing large projects end to end


• Good communication skills and someone that presents very well- they will be communicating with business partners, Binesh wants to feel confident putting this resource in front of them


• Previous banking experience- previous BOA is his first preference, but second would be anyone coming from large financial institutions


• Don't need to be technical, no tech stack required


• Open to different levels of years of experience, has had success with junior and senior resources, is more focused on their communication skills/attitude


• Strong Project Management skills with ability to lead a team and drive to results


• Strong Change Management skills/experience


• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Must possess analytical and problem solving skills


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Excellent time management and prioritization skills


• Strong project financial management skills


• Guides projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated


• Develops and manages to project plan


• Identifies, assigns, tracks, escalates, and resolves issues


• Schedules and facilitates regular meetings to review progress and status, and ad hoc topical meetings; formulates agendas and documents minutes, action items. etc.


• Ability to provide project status on deliverables or escalate issues to sr. leaders and executives


• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficient


• 7+ years of end to end project management experience


• Agile Certification needed


• Must Have: Previous Bank of America and Change Management


• Must be local to Charlotte
